Oh my gosh I could die a happy person > I saw the show yesterday ( the
matinee) It was good, I agree with whoever said the accent was a
annoying when she said thar and stuff. She totally carried the show on
her back. All of the loves scenes were initiated by her, but by no means
was I dissappointed . When she walked out onstage I really had tears
welling in my eyes . At he en d of the show I went to the stage door &
waited with a present I had for her. I got a few autographs from the
other cast members and I got tom Wopats.Well I asked him if SHE woould
be coming out, he said he didn't know and that I should ask the security
guard. I asked the guard and he said she didn't come out during matinees
....needless to say i was crushed. I asked the guard to give her the
present and he said he's give it to her dresser. Well my mom saw how
upset I was and said we'd go back after her performance later on in the
day ( we didn't go to that show we just went to the door) well we waited
and waited , and some people came & Noelle and I met . i got the kid's
autographs that were in the show on this poster that I bought .Tom Wopat
came out later and recognized me and signed my poster ( before he had
signed my playbill) then after a little while SHE came out I turned to
Noelle and said " Oh my gosh "She walked out wearing the cutest big
black marshmellow jacket a black hat ( which was cute but I wanted to
see her hair up close ) I was SO star struck. I got her to sign my
poster and asked if she got a little green bag she said in her oh so
adorable voice " yes Oh was that you " I don't know whether I nodded or
spoke,then she said " I read some of then they're beautiful " ( I had
copied some poems I had written , and I wrot one for her )
I don't think I said much after that .Except...I don't know how many of
you have the Sondheim Etc CD but if you do, Ya know when she's getting
ready to sing Some people and says she didn't play Dainty June and that
She'd change her Bio, Well in my stupidity I was gonna tease her and I
said "Ms. Peters you didn't change your Bio" I didn't realize how not
funny that sounded until I said it and a few people looked at me funny
,luckily she didn't hear me.Then as We were leaving I told her someone
(who she obviously didn't know right off the top of her head) said hi,
again I realized how dumb I sounded.
That was about it . I'll let Noelle tell you about the binder if you
sent a letter.
It was so cool I'm still floating , ( I had never seen her live b4
just incase you couldn't tell)
