well really thats all kind of depends... What role in
what show are you auditioning for? A lot of the times
it is said you should pick a song that is in the
personality of the charcater you're auditioning for.
I mean if you were auditioning for the part of Eva
Peron in Evita you wouldn't sing Comedy tonight...

I reccomend singing something that shows off your range and emotional
abilities. When I have gen auditions I do Adelaide's Lament from Guys and
Dolls
