In a very few days, my best friend will be leaving for a one
week "study trip" (she studies Egyptology) to New York and I begged
her on my knees to buy some CDs and tapes for me there, for this is
some kind of a "once in a lifetime"-chance (I don't know if I will
ever be able to travel to America... sigh)! So, can anybody of you
PLEASE tell me where she could go to buy Bernadette Peters' CDs and
movies????? It shouldn't be too expensive, if possible...
Oh, btw, she will be living somewhere in the 57th Street (near the
5th Avenue), it would be good if the store isn't too far away!!!

See headers | i'd probably say that she wouldn't be able to walk down one block without finding a cd store in new york! since most tourists go to time square at some point or another, there is a virgin records store right in the middle (across the street from the mariott marquee) which is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, record store in the world. it has cds, books, videos, anything you could possibly want. definately go there if you want any type of unusual cds you can't find anywhere else, but bernadette cds aren't too hard to find. good luck!
