See headers | Hi! I saw AGYG yesterday and I haven't come down from Cloud 9 since
then. We went to get Bernadette's autograph before the show. I had
the
vocal score and I kind of sort of freaked out when I saw her coming.
Of course, at that time, my pen decided to disappear and I stood
there
going, "My pen! It's gone! Where THE HECK is my Sharpie?" Luckily,
she
heard, grabbed somebody else's pen and signed the score for me.
Anyway...Watching Bernadette was just amazing. My cousin and I had
front row seats, all the way at the end of the row, so all of the
actors looked down at as us at some point. Tom Wopat smiled at my
cousin and blew her a kiss (she went wild...she's a real Dukes of
Hazzard fan). Bernadette herself looked over while she was singing "I
Got Lost in His Arms."
I was also wondering if there was any point in writing her a letter.
As a drama student and musical theatre fanatic, she inspired me. She
didn't seem to be afraid of anything. I thought about writing and
mentioning that, but should I? Her assistant, of course, reads the
letters, but does Bernadette even bother with them?

See headers | That is awesome Kelsey! I can't wait to see her! I agree that she is an
inspiration (I am an aspiring actor also!) and I would totally encourage you
to write her. I did, a few months ago and she sent an autograph. I have
also heard that sometimes she writes back! So, go for it!

she was on tour and b/c I'm smart, I didn't think of that. But I eventually
got an autograph in the mail.... and of course, I cried.

I mailed my letter this morning. Of course...the genius that it me kind
of forgot that she'll only be using that stage door address for a couple
of days longer.

See headers | She'll probably still get the fanmail. They won't just throw it away as
soon as she leaves. They can't, it's against the law or something! Haha.
I sent one in April and I haven't gotten one back yet! So, i'm waiting
patiently, but I'm gonna freak if it doens't come soon! Haha!

See headers | Bernadette has personally told me that she is bad with fan mail so when you
do get a picture it is from Patty. But she would probably send you a letter
if you made yours sound interesting. She just probably tells Patty that if
something comes in that would catch her attention to give it to her. Hope
