See headers | Has anyone caught (or planning to catch) the AGYG tour with Marilu Henner?
From what I hear Marilu's acting is WONDERFUL but her singing voice just
doesn't cut it for people who have seen Bernadette...or even heard
Bernadette. What can you expect though? LOL

See headers | Yeah, I'm seeing it when it comes to Chicago this September. My mom said
that we were going to call for tickets yesterday, but we never got around to
it.... So hopefully we'll get the today! I want good seats!
And.... of course no one can amount to Bernadette! I'm sure that Marilu
will be good, but Bernadette's the best!

The tour's coming somewhere near me (in Florida) in a long time...I'm counting
on everybody who's seeing it to post their comments. My parents like Marilu
Henner. Of course...I get to see it on Broadway in two weeks (yippee!).

See headers | yeah. i've seen it and that's about right. her acting was wonderful, but
her voice just really isn't right for the part. it cracked several
times...esp. when she was trying to hit that top note in "you can't get a man
with a gun" but her acting was fantastic, as was the rest of the show.
definitely worth seeing.
