See headers | I had made a comment quite a few months ago about how I had recently attended a bette midler concert. Well, I've also seen Berandette in concert, and I was saying how they were so different that the two women were incomparible. Bette's was a spectacle while Berandette's was more of a refined evening. Well, I don't remember who it was, but they took it very personally against bernadette, and chewed my head off. NOTE, I did not say Bette was better, I merely said that the women were so unique that they were incomparible.

Seriously, I'd kill to see both of these women in concert, for very different reasons. They're both legends to me.
Curious, where did you see Bernadette in concert?

I don't think the guy took anything you said as an insult against Bernadette;
I think he just really, really, REALLY didn't like Bette.
