Bernadette's co-star in HEARTBEEPS was Andy Kaufman, no? Well have any of
you seen the movie about Andy, Man on the Moon? If so, did it have
anything about HEARTBEEPS in it?

ALSO: Has anyone seen Impromptu, the movie with Bernadette Peters etc. If
so, is it any good?

I haven't seen "Man on the moon" yet but I really want to, even though I'm
not a big Kaufman or Carrey fan. And no I've never seen "Impromptu", I saw it
at a used video store and ALMOST bought it but it looked boring so I got
something else instead. -Eric

I saw "Man on the Moon." I thought it was very good. I'm a fan of Kaufman,
and was a bit worried about someone like Jim Carrey playing him (you know-
Hollywood type guy). I really enjoyed the movie though. It was very
interesting and was beautifully made. There wasn't anything I can remember
about "Heartbeeps" though. Maybe I missed some sort of little mention (I
mean- it's pretty hard to cover an entire lifespan in only two hours. . .)
Another thing, I was shopping over the weekend and I saw Bernadette's special
on DVD. I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy it. I have it on VHS, and didn't
know if it was the same or if there were new features or what. Does anyone
have it so they can fill me in?

Ok, I saw MAN ON THE MOON and IMPROMPTU. Imp. was ok, i mean, for a foreign
artsy film. The main stars are Hugh Grant and that woman from THE REF.
Bernadette't total onscreen time is about 15-20 minutes. I'd rent it instead
of buying it, just to see it.
And no, there was nothing about HEARTBEEPS in MOTMoon.
