See headers | I saw SILENT MOVIE today. I had never seen the whole thing. I thought
overall, it was funny. Bernadette was good. She could've been in more, but
then again, she was in it as much as Madeline Kahn was in BLAZZING SADDLES,
right?

See headers | I saw it too! I thought she was so cute!!!!! I love the little wedding cake
thing, and I thought it was funny because of Pennies from Heaven she did later
(she danced to that in there too).

See headers | Actually I think she had more screen time than Madeline did in Blazing
Saddles... Madeline just made such an impact while she was on the screen that
it seems like she was in more. Actually I would compare Bernadette's Silent
Movie role to Madeline's in High Anxiety, cause it's like they're saving the
female lead until the last possible second to introduce. Last bit of trivia
-- Bernadette's Silent Movie role was originally written for Madeline but she
couldn't do it.

See headers | It's funny that you should mention Madeline Kahn. I used to spend a lot of
time hanging out backstage and/or outside the stage door while Bernadette was
doing Sunday in the Park. I can't tell you how many times I would overhear
people who were walking by while Bernadette was signing autographs say "Oh
look, there's Madeline Kahn."
