I can't imagine there's any way to get this item except through purchase at
a BC/EFA flea market type event. It's her costume, it's not like she's got
30 of them and she's giving them to fans. And if this WAS purchased, it was
purchased for a lot more than the $4 asking price. Something tells me this
is not the most reliable auction.... >>

Well, the broadway flea market was just a few weeks ago, and AGYG had a
table...things go for pretty cheap there. The person could have gotten it
there, and is now trying to make a profit. And on Ebay, it's very normal to
start things off at $1 to $5. If it's something good, it usually get's a lot
of bids. But you never know. :-)

I was at the Broadway Flea Market and the AGYG table and let me tell you
that not only was her costume piece not for sale (nor would it be, she wears
it still.... it's not just a prop that there are extras of, it's her
costume, there's just one, maybe MAYBE two), but the stuff that was for sale
was pretty damned expensive. like a magazine for $50 expensive.

Oh sorry.... :-) I didn't go to that table...but at the Rent table, they
had a lot of costumes, and they were only like $5 to $10. Most of the other
tables I saw seemed cheap too. :-) I just figured they were all like that.

since we are talking about the Flea Market, I just feel the need to share my
joy of my new favorite possesion, a Newspaper prop with a picture oof
Ruthie's Velma, signed by Miss Henshall herself! I had a nice friend from NY
pick out something for me at the flea market and she did a great job!

I contacted the man who was selling the hat. I asked him if he had any poof that it was authentic. All he could tell me was that it was used by Bernadette on a rehersal for the Tony's and that he bought it at the Broadway flea market. I really still doubt this story, but it would definitely be cool if it was true!
