Okay, "Silent Movie" was on Comedy Central last night
and I tried my hardest to stay up and watch it because
I've never seen it but since it was like 3am I feel
asleep before I saw Bernadette> is this another one of
her infamous CAMEO roles? Wasn't she nominated for a
Golden Globe for this movie too? :) -Eric

She does have a very small role. It's at the very end. It's hilarious for
what few scenes there are, though. Ben might be able to give a better
description.

It was kind of like Madeline's role in Mel's "High Anxiety": she was the
leading lady, a very substantial role, but she didn't show up till halfway
through the movie.

I could never get into that movie. I hate movies with no words (aka silent
movies!) I love bernadette's voice the most over anything. This movie just
doesnt cut it D

Hmmmm... she plays sexy Vilma Kaplan, who is hired late in the movie by
Engulf and Devour to seduce and abandon Mel Funn (Brooks) to distract him
from making his silent movie.
