See headers | Did anyone watch the Jerry Herman tribute on Bravo last night " Broadway
Bowl" Well if anyone did what do you think of ( oh I can't think of anyones
name) the woman who sang "time heals everything"
I (it may sound bias but I honestly think this) that BP does a much better
job in it.this person sounded good and if I didn't have BP to compare her to
it'd be really good but not memorable, she sang lots of parts in her head
voice, she belted some parts and that sounded good ..... but it wasn't
Bernadette. The man who sang " I won't send Roses" did a fabulous job
though. And he accompanied(sp?)himself on the piano which started out
beautifull and then in the second half the orchestra kicked in and he stood
up and sounded wonderful. I had tears STREAMING down my face by the end of
it,and there was this unrealistic notion that BP was going to come out on
stage and sing that one little part Mabel has at the end of the song (of
course she didn't but it would have been nice)
For those of youwho didn't see it, it's pretty good it's a collection of
Jerry Hermans musicals ( MAME ,HELLO DOLLY and of Course MACK AND MABEL etc)
they usually repeat that sort of stuff on Bravo so if you get the chance you
outta watch it.

See headers | Personally, I haven't heard ANYONe do a song better
than Bernadette (I mean songs Bernadette has
done)..."Time Heals Everything" pretty much stopped
the show when I saw her in concert last year...it was
so great!!!! -eric
