<Anyone know where I could get a copy of the video of "Sunday In The
Park With
George"? I went to reel.com and they said it wasn't available.
Help!

Tim>

It is avalible. I know because the Wallingford Library of Connecticut
has a copy. I think it was on American Playhouse, like Into The Woods
was(We taped it). Wallingford also has vidoes of Sweeney Todd and
Passion.
If you don't like in Connecticut, keep looking. It's out there
somewhere.

trying to find the Concert version of it on CD. Does anyone know what

She plays Fay. I have a pirated video of the concert at Carnegia Hall. I
haven't even looked at it yet - do you believe that?

Joanna,
The concert CD of Anyone Can Whistle is SUPERB. Bernadette plays Fay Apple
and Madeline Kahn is Cora Hoover Hooper. They are great!! Also, Angela
Lansbury narrated the evening, and some of her narration was preserved on the
CD.

I have a video too. You should look at it! It's really fun. "Come Play Wiz
Me" and "I've Got You to Lean On" were particularly fun to watch in their
staging.

Berandette plays the role of Faye in ANYONE CAN WHISTLE. She's fabulous. So
is Madeline (Cora Hoover Hooper, the mayoress) and Lansbury narrates it.

Hi Joanna

Bernadette sings Nurse Fay Apple and she is fantastic. I actually prefer
the way she sings "There won't be trumpets" on the "Sondheim etc" CD.She
does a brilliant version with Madeline Khan of a song called "There's
always a woman". It is well worth having in the collection.

Take care
Brett

The pirate has all the flubs. Can you believe that Bernadette messed up the
ending lyrics of THERE WON"T BE TRUMPETS at the actual concert? Madeline had
her own mess ups too. And the only flaw Scott Bakula made was SINGING.

Actually, Madeline's "flubs" were mostly resultant of overall lack of enough
rehearsal time for the production (her not being allowed enough time for a
quick change, the orchestra rushing into the next song), but she did screw up
a line on "There's Always a Woman." Did anyone notice that although other
flubs were rerecorded, Bernadette and Madeline get off track at the end of
"There's Always a Woman" and they just left it on the CD that way? That is
weird.

I've met a guy (via the internet) who has a list of videos of musicals that he
will trade. You won't believe his collection! I don't have his email address
on this computer, but I'll check it when I get home.

Wow, I'd like to see his list, if you find it or the address.
