Hi everyone:

OK, I just got back from seeing the final performance of "Charlie Brown" and
it was SUCH a good show. Kristen Chenoweth (Sally) is the funniest person
ever. The best part was when she came out with the Coat Hanger Sculpture and
she kept going on and saying "Nobody get's a 'C' in coat hanger sculpture!
Will YOU share my C?!?!" and "Well, I was jumping rope and then it all became
so futile." I'm so mad that this show is closing. I wish you all could've
seen it. Roger Bart's "Snoopy" is HYSTERICAL! His number called
"Suppertime" was amazing! And when Ilana Levine (Lucy) starts saying "I'm
gonna be queen!" it is so adorable! And at the beginning when they come out
one by one EVERYONE was clapping so much. People were literally clapping for
2 full minutes for Kristen Chenoweth and quite long for Roger Bart as well.
Anthony Rapp (Charlie Brown), B.D. Wong (Linus) and Stanley Wayne Mathis
(Schroeder) were all amazing as well.

The final line of the show is Lucy saying to Charlie Brown "You're A Good
Man, Charlie Brown" and the two shake hands. You could hear the sadness in
Ilana Levine's voice because she knew it would be the last time she'd say
those words.

It's terrible that this show is now closed. I have to say that it is
probably the best show I've seen.

Tim

tim!

i saw YAGMCB on friday night, and you are SO right!!!! it is one of
the most amazing shows ever and kristin chenoweth is now my favorite
actor, second only to bernadette (of course)!!!! if people had known
what that show was really like it never would have closed!

luv,

heidi

ps: i spoke to kristin for a while after the show, and she's flying out
today to LA for her role as lily in ABC's "annie". -- it's hard seeing
anyone but bernadette, but she'll be fantastic, to say the least!!!
