I saw Ellen as Nancy in "Oliver!" wayy back in October 1997, I think.
Well, 1997 at least. It was at the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly,
MA. Here's her bio:

ELLEN GREENE (Nancy). WITH NSMT: Debut. ELSEWHERE: Ellen Greene's
Broadway credits inblude a Tony nomination for "Threepenny Opera" and roles
in "the Little Prince and The Aviator" and "Rachel Lily Rosenblum."
Off-Broadway credits include "Little Shop of Horrors," "Starting Monday,"
Sorrows of Stephen," "Teeth and Smiles," "Wake Up It's Time To Go To Bed,"
Stage Directions," "In the Boomboom Room," "The Nature and Purpose of the
Universe" and "The Misanthrope." Film credits include "Jaded," "One Fine
Day," "Killer 'A Journal of a Murderer,'" "The Professional," "Wagons
East," "Naked Gun 33 1/3," "Fathers and Sons," "Stepping Out," "Pump Up the
Volume," "Me and Him," "Talk Radio," "Little Shop of Horrors," "Dancings as
Fast as I Can" and "Next Stop Greenwich Village." Television credits
include guest starring on "Dellaventura," the HBO mini-series "Glory
Glory," "Dinner at Eight," "An Occassional Hell," "Morning Maggie,"
"Travellin'," "The Boss and The Secretary," "Rock Follies," and guest
starring on "Law and Order" and "Cybil." She is the mother of "Daze," who
hopelessly auditioned for the role of bull dog, but was turned down because
he looks too much like a stuffed animal.

I don't understand the end, either :) Maybe she mean's Bill Sykes' dog, in
Oliver? I can't specifically remember her performance very much, but I
remember enjoying that if it counts for anything! The kid who played
Oliver was very good, also. (Frankie J. Galasso. "Jungle 2 Jungle"
[Martin Short's son], and most recently, the concept recording of "Night of
the Hunter." Well, if you recognize his name at all, those would probably
be the places from it.

Okay, this isn;t Ellen Green, though I think it;s totally cool she our
subject! But I just thought I'd share that I saw Christiane Noll as Nancy in
91, here in Akron at a dinner theater, and now she;s this huge bway person
with her own solo album(cutting several Bernadette staples as a matter of
fact) isn;t that cool/

For my part, I understood that, and that's cool. I was just saying I think
she was great in all three, and in fact think she was probably in worst voice
at the Hey Mr Producer concert. What probably differentiates them though is
that the Hey Mr Producer performance was live at a concert.
