See headers | Hi everyone, is anyone familiar or like the show "Anyone can Whistle"? What
Am I saying? Bernadette was in it so everyone on this list probably knows
about it. Well I must confess, I'm kind of an ignorant Bernadette fan, well
I'm also a reletivly new fan, since I discovered Into the Woods. But anyways
I got the cd from my friend for my bday and I simply adore it!!! It's just
so far from the norm of Broadway ya know? Ohh and a word of cautoin. Anyone
who has heard the "Hey Mr. Producer" cd and loved the Little Shop of Horrors
section where Elain Green wailed with that other guy on "Suddenly Seymore",
and was thinking of buying the 1982 off broadway soundtrack, DON'T!!!!! I
got it for my birthday and it lacks so much of what they had on the HMP cd, I
was so disappointed, there's like zero energy, and Elain Green just doesn't
do that great of a job as she did.

I love "ACW" too, but I'm mainly writing to voice a very dissenting opinion
on the Little Shop CD, I thought it was great. My favorite is the CD from
the movie with the added bonus of Rick Moranis and Steve Martin, but the
awesome Ellen Greene is in all three versions and she's great.

Also, a small part in "One Fine Day" with Michelle Pfeiffer.

Great great score. There are two recordings, one with Bernadette and
Madeline, and the original with Angela Lansbury. You can't go wrong either
way, although several of the roles are better sung on the Carnegie Hall
recording.

Yeah, Elaine Lieberman. Her husband was in Barbados. Glad this is
straightened out, cause we didn't remember her in "Liar Liar", hehe...
