See headers | At the Drama Awards for my high school this year, I, being the club
president, am thinking of opening the show with me and my drama teacher
lipsinging to the ANNIE GET YOUR GUN soundtrack. We're gonna do "Anything
You Can Do." And since we're doing it like the oscars this year, i'm gonna
be in a very nice gown. Picture this (i'm sooooooo excited): house lights
dim, and spotlight comes up stage left... I walk on, wait a beat, and the
music plays over the loud speaker, "Anything you can do, I can do better..."
(beat, lights up stage right on my teacher)..."I can do anything better than
you." Then we do the whole number. Doesn't that sound cool!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh,
i'm sooooooo excited. Then later in the show, I really do sing. I rewrote
"Send in the Clowns" to funny moments that happened this year at school. So
let me know what you all think!
